About Us
Amadi Wellness Connection (AWC) grew out of the coming together of a group of Aboriginal Indigenous women and men who long ago identified a need for a more wholistic and culturally relevant and sensitive approach to health and wellness. The collective of competent practitioners and consultants is led by the efforts of Dr. MaMa Akosua Ali.Sabree. The combined wholistic and divinely inspired mission continues to include promoting all aspects of wholistic health and wellness, liberation, and focuses on healthy reconnecting of SpiritMindBody™. Mama Dee brings a wealth of positive and wholesome experience to AWC. As a caring team AWC has been able helped multitudes of people to achieve higher consciousness, better health, clarity of purpose, a sense of stability, personal joy, and financial abundance.

    Dr. Akosua Ali.Sabree,  affectionately called MaMa Akosua, is  the  founder of Amadi Wellness Connection; program director of the Annual International Locks Conference: Natural Hair, Wholistic Health & Beauty Expo and the co-founder of Ujima Press Real Communication and CEO of  the Kuumba Family Institute, Inc.

    Dr. Ali-Sabree has been a wholistic health and wellness educator/ spiritual counsellor since 1968. She revels in her many life capacities as: sister, daughter, auntie, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, CEO, and advisor. The many titles she is also known by include intuitive writer, author,  publisher, professional registered nurse, Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapist,  Organizational strategist, Reiki therapist, life consciousness and imagination coach, Virtual Gastric Band hypnotist, hypnosis-consultant,  stress management trainer, certified network marketing trainer, community organizer, urban generalist,  and radio talk show host.

    Monzella D. Allen, CMT, MHS has been an award-winning cultural educator since 1980 and a certified bodywork specialist for since 1992. Monzella widely known as "Mama Dee" with her talents has earned many accolades from parents, co-workers, and former students. Her background includes being a nationally celebrated member of the Arthur Hall Dance Ensemble, a certification as an African dance instructor, Yoruba priestess, celebrated Parenting workshop facilitator, author, and community organizer. 
    In addition to and being a graduate student of Lincoln University, with a Master of Human Services Degree, Mama Dee’s intensive training and certifications also include Aboriginal Indigenous/ Afrikan-Centered cultural educator, Master Massage Therapist, Urban Generalist, Tui Na (Chinese massage) practitioner, Reiki therapist and guided fasting trainer.

     Monzella D. Allen is the vice president of the Kuumba Family Institute and is also the founder of Akoma Ntosoa: United Hearts Cultural Academy
